CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA)
The certified nurse assistant program is a 6-week completion certificate course that trains you to work as a health care assistant and allows you to be ready to write the board exam.
The program consists of 4 weeks in-class lectures and skill practice, then 2 weeks of clinical experience at our partner hospitals.
This training is beneficial to people who have the intention of traveling out of the country to pursue healthcare jobs.

VOCATIONAL HEALTH CARE TECHNICIAN (VHCT)
The vocational health care technician certificate program is an intensive hands-on course that expands the horizons of vocational health workers like Auxiliary nurses and other health care assistants.
Our well-rounded program provides knowledge and experience for care work opportunities beyond a hospital to other health facilities/spaces be it theatres, laboratories, pharmacies, or medicine counters, rehabilitation centers, etc. as support staff, technical aid, or assistants.
The course duration is 18 months (1 year, 6 months), comprising of 3 terms of full-time in-class & health facilities experience every Tuesday to Friday.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
- 18 years and above
- 4 subject passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE) including English & Mathematics

HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT REQUISITE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- The capacity to speak and write clearly in English
- The ability to submit type-written essays and assignments and to access online resources. In the practice environment, students are allowed to use electronic documentation. Students must have an email address, internet access (even if it's on their phones, like Android), and a basic understanding of computers.
- Our programs require that students behave responsibly and accountably by maintaining consistent attendance and developing effective working relationships with their fellow students. Practice course objectives may not be completed with more than 10% absences.
- An interest in caring for and providing service to an ethnically and culturally diverse clientele of people spanning all age groups
- Problem-solving skills. The student must act in a responsible, safe, and ethical manner, as well as exercise thoughtful judgment.
- The capacity to function independently and as a member of a healthcare team.
- The ability to perform complex skill sequences of 10 or more steps, work on their feet for extended periods, and demonstrate safe body mechanics.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in various contexts i.e., with clients, families, instructors, staff, and student peers.
- The ability to maintain one's mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being while working in a high-stress environment.
- Students enrolled in our programs must abide by all applicable Ezzy Health care Training College (EHTC) policies and rules. The student may be asked to leave the program if they don't follow these policies and rules.
